Bridget Quinn joined the Simmons Sports Medicine staff in August of 2017.
Quinn is extremely familiar with the Boston area, having graduated from Boston University, where earned a Masters Degree in Health Education in 2017. While earning her degree at BU, Quinn served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Terriers from 2015-17, coordinating all aspects of care for the varsity men's and women's swimming & diving teams for the 2016-17 season. In addition to supporting the swimming & diving squads, Quinn also assisted with the varsity men's ice hockey, men's and women's tennis, women's lacrosse, cheer, dance, club women's soccer and ice hockey teams.
While at BU, Quinn served as the Head Athletic Trainer for Chelsea High School for the 2015-16 campaign. She oversaw care for all 23 varsity, junior varsity and freshmen programs. Her care consisted of pre-participation examinations, managing patient care, providing multi-lingual concussion education, while collaborating with physicians, physical therapists, school administrators and school social workers.
The Massachusetts native graduated from University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2015 and gained experience with the Huskies athletics teams as well as University of Hartford, Manchester and Windham High Schools. While at UConn, Quinn assisted in care during the opening round of the NCAA Field Hockey Tournament. In addition to her experience at the collegiate and high school levels, Quinn also provided support to the Boston Militia Professional Women's Football Team.
