Title: Assistant Softball Coach

Ally Galati enters her second year as an Assistant Coach for Simmons softball following her arrival prior to the 2019 season. 

Galati works with the team's outfielders in addition to assisting on the team's hitting, slapping and baserunning.

Before receiving her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science in the spring of 2016 from McDaniel College, Galati was a four-year member of the Green Terror softball team. A career .305 hitter (83-272) and two-time team Captain, she helped guide Mc Daniel to the Centennial Conference Championship as junior in 2015.

Galati is familiar to the Boston area, having spent her time before Simmons as an event management intern at Harvard University in 2017-18. She proved a valuable asset to the Crimson operations staff, overseeing all game-day operations for men’s and women’s soccer, wrestling, and softball. In addition, Galati played an integral role in helping the department host the 2018 NCAA Division I, II, and III Men’s Lacrosse Championships at Gillette Stadium. 

Currently residing in Brighton, Mass., Galati also holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Leadership in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
