Briana Hayes returns to the program, where she established herself as one of the best keepers in school history. Hayes enters her third season with Simmons as Head Coach Erica Schuling's top assistant and will work with the Simmons netminders.
The former Shark graduated in 2016 with a degree in Physical Therapy to cap a four-year career that saw her post a lifetime 1.35 goals against average. During her tenure at Simmons, the New York native posted the top three single-season GAA marks in program annals. The goalie was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference First Team after recording a .882 save percentage to rank 14th in the nation as a first year to contribute to a career .840 save mark on 479 stops. Hayes started all but two of the 71 matches that she appeared in, while earning 29 victories, including 17 shutouts in 6086:47 minutes of action.
