  • Swimming & Diving Leaves it in the Pool for the Annual "Hour of Power" Relay

    BOSTON, Mass. - The Simmons University women's swimming & diving team joined thousands of student-athletes from collegiate, high school, and club teams across the nation and abroad to celebrate the 14th Annual Ted Mullin "Leave it in the Pool" Hour of Power Relay for Sarcoma Research, sponsored by Carleton College swimming and diving teams.

    WINTHROP, Mass. – Simmons University’s Sara Manjikian (Belmont, Mass.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week, it was announced by the league. 
  • Swimming & Diving Falls to Wellesley, 188-112; Manjikian Breaks School Record on 1-Meter Board

    BOSTON, Mass. -- Junior diver Sara Manjikian (Belmont, Mass.) broke a 10-year old school record on the one-meter diving board as part of two wins on the day to lead the Simmons University women's swimming & diving team in a 188-112 loss to visiting Wellesley College this afternoon at the Holmes Sports Center Natatorium in Boston, Mass. The Sharks fall to 2-5 on the season, while the Blue improve to 2-0.

    WINTHROP, Mass. – Simmons University women’s swimmer Aine Scholand (Albuquerque, N.M.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for the week of October 28 to November 3, it was announced today by the league. 
  • Scholand Leads Swimming & Diving at WPI in Quadruple Dual-Meet

    WORCESTER, Mass. -- Senior Aine Scholand (Albuquerque, N.M.) won a pair of individual events to lead the Simmons University women's swimming & diving team  in a quadruple dual-meet this evening at host Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass. at the WPI Sports & Recreation Center. The Sharks defeated Smith College, 171.5-126.5, but fell to WPI, 203-95, Brandeis University, 148-141 and Babson, 166-123.

  • List, Manjikian Lead Swimming & Diving over Westfield State, 220-77

    BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Laura List (Bedford, Mass.) scored 22 points and junior diver Sara Manjikian (Belmont, Mass.) won both of her diving events to lead the Simmons University women’s swimming & diving team over visiting Westfield State University, 220-77, this afternoon at the Holmes Sports Center Natatorium in Boston, Mass.  The Sharks improve to 1-1 on the season, while the Owls fall to 0-1 after their season opener.

    ANDOVER, Mass. -- Senior Aine Scholand (Albuquerque, N.M.) and first year Meg Driscoll (Haverhill, Mass.) each won a pair of events to lead the Simmons University women's swimming & diving team in a 139-122 loss to host Merrimack College this afternoon at the Andover YMCA in Andover, Mass. The Sharks fall to 0-1 in their season opener, while the Warriors improve to 1-2.
