CJ Minich joined the Sharks for the 2015-16 season and returns for her third season as the Head Diving Coach.
In just her first season, Minich tutored Simmons' first Great Northeast Athletic Conference Diving Champion on both the one and three-meter boards since 2013. Under her watch, the Sharks also had a diver qualify to compete at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association Championships in each of her first two seasons.
Prior to her arrival at Simmons, Minich served as the Diving Coach for Bridgewater-Raynham High School, where she grew the program from no returners to a full stable of competitors. She guided a pair of rookie divers with no previous experience to qualifiers at state and national competitions.
A native of Wellesley, Mass., Minich was an accomplished diver in both high school and college, earning Little East Conference Second Team honors on the one-meter board at Bridgewater State University following her sophomore season.
Minich graduated from Bridgewater State with a Social Work degree in 2015, while minoring in Psychology. She recently earned her Masters degree in Social Work from Boston College as well.
