Internal Reservations
Are you part of a Student Organization looking to host an event in the Holmes Sports Center?
- Student Organizations are welcome to submit facility reservation requests for the Gymnasium or Dance Studio
- The reservation request should be for use during regular operating business hours
- Acceptable requests for use of the gymnasium include: basketball, soccer, kickball, wiffle ball, and other gym games or organized sports.
- Student groups may reserve a space for up to three (3) hoursÂ
- A minimum of 4 weeks advance notice is required for all requests
- Requests do not guarantee availability
- Requests are processed in the order they are received and filled on a space-available basis

External Group Reservations
Simmons University welcomes external groups to use our recreation facilities. If you are an outside group and are interested in booking a space in our facilities, please visit "External Group Rentals." For all other questions or concerns about reserving space, please contact Ben Youngmark at benjamin.youngmark@simmons.edu.Â

 We will try our best to accommodate everyone's needs.  To help expedite the process, please review the following guidelines before filling out the reservation form:
- Individual Simmons students, faculty or staff may NOT reserve activity areas.
- Upon arrival at the Sports Center, Simmons community members may check in with the front desk to see if a particular room is available. Â If it is, they are permitted to use it;
- Individual Simmons students, faculty or staff, who are members of an outside group with no affiliation to Simmons, will NOT be allowed to reserve space. The outside group is responsible for reserving the space at the hourly fee.
- All outside groups are required to have proper insurance coverage, including:
- Liability Insurance ($1,000,000 per occurrence/$3,000,000 per aggregate)
- Molestation Coverage ($250,000) if a youth organization.
Insurance USER warrants that it will carry and maintain during the term of this Agreement:

Comprehensive General Liability insurance that names the UNIVERSITY as a certificate holder and additional insured where its interests may appear. Limits shall be: (I) $1,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury or property damage; and (ii) $3,000,000 general aggregate.

Workers' Compensation insurance at statutory limits for all employees.

Employer's Liability insurance (typically Coverage B of a workers' compensation policy) with limits of: (I) $1,000,000 for each accident for bodily injury by accident; (ii) $1,000,000 for bodily
injury by disease; and (iii) $1,000,000 for each employee for bodily injury by disease.

Automobile liability insurance for use of owned, hired, or non-owned automobiles in amounts of $1,000,000 per accident combined single limit. Coverage shall include liability assumed under the Agreement.

With regard to the General Liability insurance, Automobile insurance and Employer's Liability insurance, USER shall maintain Umbrella Liability with the following limits of liability: (I) $10,000,000 each occurrence and (ii) $10,000,000 in the aggregate when any diving (any head first entry into the pool from the sides, starting blocks, or boards) is part of the agenda.
