Brook Capello arrived at Simmons as the Head Softball Coach in the fall of 2015.

In addition to her coaching duties, Capello uses her knowledge and expertise in recruiting, serving as the liaison between athletics and the admissions office. Prior to becoming the department’s admissions liaison, she oversaw the department’s compliance efforts. Capello also served on the NCAA softball Regional Advisory Committee for both the NECC and GNAC. Currently serving on the NFCA Top 25 Committee and the Division 3 Head Coaches Committee
 
Outside of Simmons, Capello coaches and consults with the well-respected Polar Crush club organization.
 
Education
A 2006 graduate of Stonehill College, Capello graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in criminology before earning her Master’s in social work from Boston College in 2010.
