BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Simmons University Sharks Lacrosse team welcomed the Albertus Magnus Falcons to Daly Field this evening for another league contest. The Sharks dominated early and did not look back en route to the 18-2 victory.

How It Happened

• Everett Garner got the scoring spree off for the home team with a goal less than two minutes into the opening quarter. Simmons continued to fire to lead by five after one.
• Four different Sharks found the back of the net in the second to lead by 10 at halftime.
• Maria Turriza ripped in a shot from classmate Leah Finn to continue the fun in the third as Finn had her hand in three out of the four tallies in the frame.
• Emily Horn and Kate Lawrence teamed up to repeat their stat lines in the fourth as Lawrence assisted all three of Horn's goals in the period.

Beyond The Box Score

• First year, Emily Horn booked a career-high five goals.
• Lauren Krupnikoff also recorded a career-high in goals with four.
• Kate Lawrence dished out a career-high four dimes.
• Defender Maria Turizza netted her first collegiate goal as a Shark tonight.
• Leah Finn tied her season-high of three goals and had a season-high of four caused turnovers.
• The Sharks continue conference action this Saturday as they travel to play a 10 a.m. contest against the Elms College Blazers.
