SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Simmons swimming and diving capped off the annual two-day Seven Sisters Invitational in fourth place with a total score of 435.5 on Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore
Isabel Barry-Ruiz registered a personal-best in the mile, the 1,650-yard freestyle, touching the wall with a time of 21:26.15 to finish seventh. In the following race, junior captain
Carli Quinlan registered her second first place finish of the meet, clocking a time of 54.84 in the 100-yard freestyle.
Sophomore
Bee Eckels came one second shy of matching her season-best time in the 200-yard breaststroke finishing fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:45.00.
The Sharks capped of the meet with the 400-yard freestyle relay where they A-squad of
Chaelin Humphrey,
Camelia Hannah,
Anna Kelly and Isabel Barry Ruiz posted a time of 4:07.11.
