NEW ORLEANS – The Simmons cross country team received U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team recognition for the fall 2024 season on Thursday afternoon.
 
In order to qualify for All-Academic Team honors, teams must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.1 or greater on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. The Sharks posted an outstanding team GPA of 3.478 this past fall. 

Additionally, Simmons was one of four GNAC schools to earn the honors along with Colby-Sawyer, Dean and Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
