GNAC RELEASE

WINTHROP, Mass. – Carli Quinlan represented Simmons University Swimming & Diving for the fifth time this season on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards slate as the Swimmer of the Week.

On Saturday against the Mount Holyoke College Lyons, Quinlan turned in a dominant performance, earning three individual victories. The senior opened the meet with a first-place finish in the 200 yard freestyle (2:02.87), followed by a win in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:02.97. Quinlan capped the day with another top finish in the 100 yard IM, touching the wall at 1:04.12.

Quinlan and the rest of the Sharks look ahead to a weekend meet hosted by Wellesley College starting on Saturday, January 17.
