Sharks Lock Up Bulldogs In Season-Finale

How It Happened
  • Dean got on the board quickly in the first, scoring a goal less than two minutes after the opening draw control. Senior, Leah Finn evened out the scoreboard at the 10:50 mark, followed by an Everett Garner tally (7:19) to go on top, 2-1.
  • Finn tacked on her second goal of the afternoon to bring the score to 3-1 in the opening minutes of the second frame. Simmons took seven shots in the next six minutes, but the home team was able to escape without any damage during that time frame. However, the Sharks continued to hunt as Maria Turriza found Finn to spark three more goals down the stretch to make it 6-1 at halftime.
  • After an early Bulldog goal, Simmons returned the favor and then some with with seven straight goals in the third (13-2). In the frame both Jeslyn San and Lily Haynes recorded their second goals of the day.
