In addition to her head coaching responsibilities, Burke serves as the FIT@Simmons Coordinator at Simmons University. In this role she oversees hiring and onboarding of instructors, manages the scheduling of group fitness classes and wellness events, and leads the marketing efforts to promote fitness, overall wellness, and community engagement across campus.
 
Previous Experience
Burke served as the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Emerson College for two years, primarily overseeing defense and goalkeepers. In that role, she also designed and implemented strength and conditioning programs, focused on footwork training, movement mechanics, and developed set-play execution. She played a significant role in recruiting—attending tournaments across the country to identify and engage prospective student-athletes. At the Division II level, she coached at The College of Saint Rose in upstate New York, where she assisted in game planning and coordinated defensive strategies with a specific emphasis on goalkeepers.
 
Playing Career
Burke played four-years of Division II lacrosse as a starter in the Northeast-10 Conference. In addition, she represented both the NE10 Conference and Southern New Hampshire University on the 2019 Australian Women’s Lacrosse Tour, traveling across Australia to compete against different teams and gain valuable international experience. Additionally, she earned recognition on the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for her academic achievements.
 
Education
A 2019 graduate from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Communications and a dual minor in Sport Management and Political Science.
