WESTON, Mass. -- Sophomore Megan Purser (Miami, Fla.) put down 16 kills and first year Reilly Coombs (Deland, Fla.) tallied 20 points to lead the Simmons University women's volleyball team in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference tri-match split, defeating host Regis (Mass.), 3-1 (25-23, 22-25, 25-8, 25-12), before falling to nationally-ranked number four Johnson & Wales University (R.I.), 3-0 (25-6, 25-11, 25-18), today at Higgins Court in Weston, Mass.
