BRIGHTON, Mass. – Senior 
Hannah Groves guides Simmons field hockey (16-3, 10-2 GNAC) in to the 2024 post-season registering a hat-trick in a 3-0 victory over Saint Joseph's College of Maine (9-10, 7-5 GNAC) on Wednesday evening.
 
Groves put the Sharks on the board midway through the first quarter, finding the back of the cage following a pass from first-year 
Hailey Brisson. Two minutes later, senior 
Anna Tedeschi connected with Groves once again to give the Sharks the two-goal, which they took into halftime.
 
Returning to the field at the start of the second half, Groves buried her third goal of the game a minute into the period and the Sharks never looked back. Sophomore goalkeeper 
Haley Bright earned her seventh win of the season, improving to 7-2 on the year.
 
SIMMONS HIGHLIGHTS
	- Senior Hannah Groves registered her first career hat-trick and a career single-game tallying three goals.
- First-year Hailey Brisson notched a pair of assists.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Haley Bright improved to 7-2 on the season.
