Box Score STANDISH, Maine – Simmons volleyball (11-13, 9-3 GNAC) was also victorious on Wednesday evening, following a five-set, 3-2, victory over Saint Joseph's College of Maine (12-15, 8-5 GNAC) on the road.
The Sharks found themselves down two sets early to Monks, dropping the first and second sets by identical, 25-19 scores. But Simmons remained resilient. Graduate senior Zoë Chatterton posted a .400 attack percentage with three kills on five attempts and one just one miscue to claim the third set, 25-18.
Momentum clearly was on the side of Sharks as they evened the match at two games piece, pulling out the fourth set, 25-21. Chatterton was once again lights out, hitting .625 with six kills on eight attempts to go along with eight digs. Sophomore
Hannah Pridgeon led the way with seven kills, offensively.
Simmons did not look back and squeaked out a 17-15 win in the fifth set to earn their ninth conference victory of the season. Chatterton and senior

SIMMONS HIGHLIGHTS
- Graduate senior Zoë Chatteron registered a double-double, notching 19 kills on 39 attempts with just eight errors to go along with 24 digs.
- Sophomore Hannah Pridgeon followed up with 16 kills.
- Junior Kate Petrosso was solid defensively at the net, tallying two total blocks – one solo and one assisted.
- Graduate senior April Beatty paced the offense with 27 assists.
