BRIGHTON, Mass. – Competing against a slew of Division I programs, Simmons indoor track and field continued its inaugural season competing at the 2025 UMass Lowell Riverhawk Invitational at the TRACK at New Balance on Saturday afternoon.
Shark Highlights:
- Senior Macaela Stanislas posted a personal-best time in the 200-meter with a time of 29.79.
- First-year Trinity Williamson continued to improve, eclipsing personal-best times in the 60- and 200-meter with times of 9:01 and 30.11, respectively.
- In her first race of the season, junior Carolyn Dorman recorded personal-best times in the 60-meter (9.38) and the 200-meter (32.30).
- Junior Zoe Schmaling placed 11th in the 400-meter dash with a personal-best time of 1:06.50 – the second-best Division III runner in the field.
- Schmaling also recorded a personal-best time in the triple jump hitting a mark of 8.12.
- First-year Meg Henderson also clocked a personal-best time in the 400-meter with a time of 1:15.30.
- Sophomore Hannah Bergeron registered a pair of personal-best times in the 500-meter (1:31.02) and the 1000-meter (3:39.97).
- Senior Gabby Flaherty posted a personal-best in the 1000-meter with a time of 4:01.04.
