Sharks Wrap Up Regular-Season With Win Over SUNY Delhi

Box Score DELHI, N.Y. – The Simmons University Tennis team traveled to New York this weekend to play the SUNY Delhi Broncos where the Sharks defeated their hosts, 7-0.

How It Happened
  • Grace Pluff and Katelyn Bruce secured No. 3 doubles due to retirement. Then, No. 1 Amoli Vad and Masha Shutts cruised to a 6-0 win, followed by No. 2 Grace Burke and Laura Lowe who also won, 6-0.
  • Pluff made it 2-0 in favor of the Sharks with a retirement win on the No. 6 court. Emma Parsons was victorious in No. 5 action (6-0, 6-1). Meanwhile, Burke and Emilie Lapointe each won by tallies of 6-0, 6-0. Vad handled her No. 3 counterpart, 6-1, 6-1, while Shutts won by a score of 7-5, 6-0 in the No. 1 slot.
