WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Simmons lacrosse earned its first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) win following a decisive 18-3 victory over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Saturday afternoon.
The Sharks dominated the game from the outset, establishing a 7-2 lead by the end of the first quarter and extending it to 13-3 at halftime. They continued their strong performance in the second half, adding five more goals while keeping the Blue Jays scoreless.

Frida Turriza led the offensive charge with six goals, bringing her season total to 12. She was supported by senior
Layla Drinkwater and first-year
Everett Garner, each contributing three goals.
