BRIGHTON, Mass. – In a commanding performance, the Simmons lacrosse team secured a 15-7 victory over Regis College at Daly Field. This win improves the Sharks' season record to 3-5 overall and 2-3 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).
Simmons dominated early, establishing a 7-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. Senior
Frida Turriza led the offensive charge with an impressive seven goals, including two in the first quarter and three consecutive goals spanning the second and third quarters. Graduate senior
Abby Mountain contributed four goals and an assist, while first-year
Caitie Theissen added three goals. Freshman midfielder
Everett Garner also found the net, scoring once.
On the defensive end, the Sharks held Regis scoreless until the second quarter. The Pride managed to narrow the gap in the second half, with Maddie Sainato leading Regis with two goals. Despite this, Simmons maintained control throughout the game, showcasing a balanced effort on both offense and defense.

- Senior Frida Turriza came two goals shy of tying her career single-game high notching seven goals, while adding two assists for nine points.
- First-year Caitie Theissen recorded her first career hat-trick tally three goals.
