Box Score BRIGHTON, Mass. – Simmons tennis dropped an inter-divisional match up against Assumption College on Wednesday afternoon.
 
First doubles tandem of Masha Shutts and Emilie Lapointe were solid in doubles against Laurence Bosmans and Madison Ericson. In addition, the Sharks pair also took their singles opponents to three sets.
 
After dropping the first set, 6-2, Shutts came back to tie the match at 1-1 with a 7-5 win in first singles, before falling to Ericson, 10-7 in the third. Lapointe also claimed a 7-5 win over na Bechle in second doubles to even the match at one, but fell in the third by a score of 10-7.
