WINTHROP, Mass. – First-year Everett Garner was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week announced on Monday afternoon.
 
Garner led Simmons to a 2-0 week as she registered three single-game best in a convincing 21-6 victory over Anna Maria College on the road. Against the Amcats, she tallied a single-game high five goals and seven points, while also dominating the draw with a staggering 14 draw controls. Earlier the week, Garner recorded a pair of goals and an assist for three points in a 12-8 win over New England College.
 
Simmons returns to the field tomorrow evening when they host Dean College at 7 p.m.
