Lacrosse Earns Fifth Seed in GNAC Post-Season

Lacrosse is Playoff Bound Earning the Fifth Seed in the GNAC North Division; Will Face No. 4 Colby-Sawyer on Thursday

WINTHROP, Mass. – Simmons lacrosse (7-7, 6-5, GNAC, 3-4 GNAC North) claimed the fifth seed in the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) postseason tournament announced by the league on Wednesday evening.
 
The Sharks will travel north to New London, New Hampshire to square off against Colby-Sawyer (10-6, 7-4 GNAC, 3-4 GNAC North), who earned the fourth seed winning the tie-breaker defeating Saint Joseph's College of Maine 11-10 on April 2.
 
Simmons enters the playoffs as one of the GNAC's hottest teams. The Sharks have won four of their last five games and have outscored opponents, 65-35, over the span.
 
Emmanuel College earned the top spot in the GNAC North Division with a 6-1 record, while Johnson & Wales finished atop the GNAC South Division with a perfect 7-0 mark.
