NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Simmons lacrosse was one of 383 schools across all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA to earn Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad honors announced by the coaching organization on Wednesday afternoon. The Sharks achieved an impressive team GPA of 3.817 during the 2024-2025 academic year.
Simmons lacrosse receives the recognition for the 13th time in program history and is one of nine GNAC institutions to earn the accolades. Dean, Elms, Emmanuel, Johnson & Wales, Norwich, Regis, Saint Joseph's College (ME) and University of St. Joseph (CT) were the other schools to receive the honors. To qualify for IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, teams must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA.
Additionally, the Sharks led the conference schools with nine individuals earning academic honor roll recognition. This year's IWLCA DIII Academic Honor Roll recipients include:

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher.
