GNAC RELEASE
WINTHROP, Mass. – As announced this afternoon by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), Simmons University Lacrosse was selected to finish in sixth place this season under third year Head Coach
Bri Burke.
The Sharks collected 110 points in the poll, highlighted by one first-place vote. Emmanuel College was tabbed as the preseason favorite, earning 190 points and 10 first-place votes, while Norwich followed closely in second with 179 points and two first-place selections.
Simmons opens its 2026 campaign on Tuesday, February 17, traveling to nearby Emerson College for a 6 p.m. contest at Rotch Field.
