Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. – Simmons University Tennis faced off against the Cougars of Clark University on the road today where the home team clipped the Sharks, 4-3.

How It Happened

• Masha Shutts and Amoli Vad cruised through No. 1 doubles, 6-0 to put the Sharks ahead. Then, No. 2 Emilie Lapointe and Emma Parsons edged their opponents in a gritty 7-6 win to claim the overall doubles point.
• Clark was able to even out the score as the Sharks had to default No. 6 singles. However, Lapointe answered back with a comfortable 6-0, 6-0 win on the No. 1 court. Vad recorded another win for the Sharks in No. 2 action, but the home team came away with the 4-3 win.
