GNAC RELEASE

WINTRHOP, Mass. – Senior Carli Quinlan of Simmons University Swimming was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Swimmer of the Week following an outstanding performance at the Wellesley Sisters Invite.

Quinlan captured first place in the 100 yard freestyle, touching the wall in 54.49. The senior also delivered in each event she competed in, placing third in the 50 yard butterfly with a time of 27.24 and fifth in the 200 yard individual medley after posting a 2:20.67.

Continuing her success at the two-day meet, Quinlan recorded another top-three finish in the 200 yard freestyle, clocking in at 2:00.01. 

The Sharks return to their home pool this coming weekend for Senior Day on Saturday, January 24 to host Regis and Elms.
