CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Simmons University Track & Field team was back in action today, competing at MIT's Gordon Kelly Invitational.

By The Numbers

• Isatu Fofanah raced to a time of 8.24 in the 60m dash, placing 20th out of nearly 90 competitors across all divisions and sixth among Division III runners. The performance set a new program record, breaking her own mark of 8.25 set earlier this season.
• Fofanah returned to the track in another deep field, posting a time of 28.70 in the 200m dash.
• In the 5,000m run, Jaden Johnson delivered a standout performance, crossing the line in 19:41.41 to shatter the program record by nearly two minutes and secure a fifth-place finish.
• Jayla James raced in the 60mH, clocking a 10.98 to break her own school record of 11.43 set last year.
