BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Simmons University Sharks were finally able to get onto their home this evening for a conference match-up against Lasell University, where the visiting Lasers pulled away for a 16-6 victory.
 
How It Happened

• Lasell came out firing, scoring three goals in the opening seven minutes. The Sharks responded, however, with Everett Garner leading the charge to help even the score at 3-3 heading into the second quarter.
• The teams traded early goals in the second before Lasell built a two-goal cushion and took a 6-4 lead into halftime.
• Early in the third, Emily Horn ripped in a pass from teammate Kate Lawrence (8-5). Then with two minutes left it the period, Garner recorded her fourth goal of the game for the Sharks' final tally of the second half.

Beyond The Box Score

• Sophomore Everett Garner notched her second consecutive multi-goal performance.
• Simmons will look ahead to its next contest as the Sharks travel to the North Shore to face Gordon College on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
