GNAC RELEASE

WINTHROP, Mass. – Simmons University Track & Field claimed two Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference accolades after finishing in the top-three at the GNAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. 

Opening up the day, Jaden Johnson paced the Sharks to their first podium finish as the newcomer came in second place in the 5,000m run. Johnson clocked a time of 19:32.78 to improve her own school record by 10 seconds. 

Then, after cruising through the 60m dash prelims, Isatu Fofanah came out with a bronze medal in the finals with a time of 8.23 to tie her previous program record.

Additionally, Carolyn Dorman was named to the GNAC Sportsmanship Team.
