• Jayla James' time of 18.52 in the 100m hurdles sent the junior into the finals later in the afternoon. 
• In another prelims race, newcomer Talya DeGraw also secured her spot in the finals after a prelims showing of 13.49 in the 100m dash.
• Beth Pennington ran the 1500m in 6:34.52 to just finish outside the top-20 in that event. Additionally, Pennington's time set a new personal best for the senior captain, smashing her previous PR of 7:01.10 set last season.
• Returning in the 100m hurdles, James clocked a time of 19.12 for eighth place.
• DeGraw crossed the finish line in the 100m dash at the timer struck 13.31 (+2.3) to earn fifth place.
• Hannah Bergeron was the second runner to cross the line in the 800m run in her heat (2:45.53), with teammate Julia Pellegrino claiming fourth in the section with a time of 2:52.31 (new PR). In the fourth and final heat of the 800m, Savannah Williams and Trinity Williamson placed third and fourth. Overall, Bergeron's time earned the runner 10th place out of nearly 30 runners.
• Rookie, Isabel Deptula marked the first Shark in program history to compete in the 400m hurdles, taking sixth place after completing the race in 1:20.81.
• Taking the top spot in her heat, DeGraw earned an overall placement of ninth (28.38). The next best time for the Sharks was Carolyn Dorman who was not far behind after sporting a time of 29.44 for third in her heat and 24th overall among the 50 runners.
• The relay team of Deptula, Dorman, Bergeron, and Alina Albuja orchestrated a time of 4:46.72 for an impressive second place finish.
