Chargers Capitalize On Swift Start

NEW LONDON, N.H. – Simmons University Lacrosse traveled up to the granite state to take on the Colby-Sawyer College (CSC) Chargers in league action. The home team got out to a quick start and claimed the 14-4 win.

How It Happened
  • The Chargers raced out to hold the 5-0 advantage after the opening quarter. 
  • CSC widened their lead to 7-0 before Emily Horn stopped the streak with a goal thanks to an assist from Bridget McNamara (7-1) before the Chargers found the back of the net twice more to make it 9-1 at halftime.
  • Simmons added to their tally once in the third and twice in the third, but the Chargers already held the momentum to secure the win.

  • Leah Finn has score din back-to-back games.
  • The Sharks look ahead to Tuesday, April 14 to play nearby Emmanuel on their home turf at 7 p.m.
