SALEM, Mass. – In their first road trip of the spring, Simmons University Tennis went up to the North Shore to play the Vikings of Salem State and returned back to Boston with a clean 7-0 win.
How It Happened
- Emma Parsons and Grace Burke won by default in No. 3 doubles, while Masha Shutts and Emilie Lapointe took care of business in the No. 1 slot (6-0) to claim the overall doubles point.
- In singles, Shutts sealed the deal for the Sharks in the No. 1 singles position after besting her opponent, 6-1, 6-0. Overall, Lapointe, Amoli Vad, Burke, Parsons, and Grace Pluff came out victorious for the shutout.
