Simmons University Softball player Ivy Vann Class of 20212019 Season: Tabbed to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference Team ... The only player on the team to start all 45 games and has started all 86 games during her career ... The only player in the conference to be named GNAC Player of the Week multiple times, being selected for the weeks of March 18-24 and April 1-7 ... Led the GNAC in games played at at-bats (147) ... Ranked second among league leaders with four triples and eight sacrifice hits, while placing among the conference top-10 in hits (48-5th), runs (33-5th), total bases (71-6th) and sacrifice flies (two-fifth) ... Smacked nine doubles to stand 11th among GNAC leaders in addition to knocking in 25 runs to rank 13th and working 12 walks to place 13th ... Stole six bases in as many attempts to stand 15th in the league ... Hit .327 (48-147) for the sixth-highest batting mark on the squad, while owning a .377 on-base percentage ... Hit a pair of home runs and posted a .483 slugging mark to place fourth on the team ... Registered 13 multi-hit efforts, including back-to-back outings in a double-header with Eastern Nazarene College, where she went a combined 5-7 with a double, a triple, four runs scored, three runs batted in and a pair of stolen bases on April 3 ... Went hitless in consecutive games just twice during the season with her longest drought being just three games ... Owned a season-long six-game hitting string from March 8-20 ... Went 2-5 with a homer, three runs scored and three RBI vs. Suffolk University on May 3 in the second round of the GNAC Championship Tournament ... Performed well in the clutch, hitting .444 (16-36) with runners in scoring position.

2018 Season: Named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Third Team ... Made her collegiate debut, going 2-4 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base vs. Heidelberg University on March 6 ... Outstanding from the two-hole in the lineup, scoring 41 runs to rank second among league leaders and sixth on the school's all-time single-season list, while cracking a school-record eight triples to rank second in the nation ... Started all 41 games, primarily in left field, and batted .323 (40-124) for the season, while posting a .597 slugging percentage, including .676 in league games, which placed her 12th on the GNAC leaderboard for GNAC competition ... Showed some pop at the plate with four home runs to stand 11th in the conference and collected 74 total bases to rank 10th ... Stole seven bases for the eighth-highest total in school annals and rapped out 40 hits to rank 20th in the league in both categories ... Registered a .382 on-base percentage and committed just one error in 45 chances in the outfield ... Drove in 24 runs to rank third on the team and hit a whopping .529 (18-34) with runners in scoring position ... Enjoyed a seven-game hitting streak that saw her hit .520 (13-25) with eight RBI and 10 runs scored from April 22-29 and was named the GNAC Rookie of the Week for the week of March 19-25, earlier in the season ... Ranked third on the team with 12 multi-hit outings, including a 3-3 effort with a home run, a double, two RBI and two runs scored at University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on April 22 ... Registered 18 extra-base hits for the second-most on the team, including four straight games with at least one extra base hit from April 22-27.

High School/Personal: Four-year letterwinner in softball and competed for a year of nordic skiing and basketball for the Junior Varsity squads at Mountain View High School ... Named to the Intermountain Softball All-Conference First Team in each of her final three seasons for the Cougars and was tabbed to the Class 5A All-State Third Team as a junior and sophomore ... Tabbed the MVHS Offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore and won a Gold Glove following her junior campaign ... Chosen a Captain for Mountain View softball prior to her senior season ... Owns the single-season school record for home runs (eight) and stolen bases (17) ... Earned the Cougars' JV Most Improved Player honor for the basketball team ...
