NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Simmons volleyball (6-10) fell to non-conference contest to Smith College (16-5), 3-0, on Saturday afternoon.
Smith edged out the Sharks in the first set, 25-23, by a solid .308 attack percentage then took a 2-0 lead on Simmons, hitting .400 as a team in the second set. But the Sharks made them work to take the two-game lead. The Pioneers took the third set by a score of 25-16 to claim their 16
th win of the season.
Graduate senior
April Beatty came three kills and three digs shy of the prestige triple double, pacing the Sharks offense with 10 assists in addition to hitting .429 from the floor with seven kills on 14 attempts. Sophomore
Hannah Pridgeon remained the spark to the Shark offense with nine kills, while graduate senior Zoë Chatterton also tallied nine.

- April Beatty posted a .429 attack percentage with seven kills on 14 attempts and just one error, while also notching 10 assists.
- Alicia Beatty helped pace the offense with 13 assists
- Hannah Pridgeon and Zoë Chatterton each added nine kills in the win.
