WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Simmons volleyball (10-12, 8-2 GNAC) split Saturday afternoon's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tri-match closing out the day with a 3-0 win over host University of St. Joseph (2-20, 2-10 GNAC).

Hannah Pridgeon came one dig shy of her ninth double-double of the season, leading the Sharks tallying 13 kills while notching nine digs against the Blue Jays. Senior middle blocker
Meghan Doxsee was flawless from the floor, posting a staggering .714 attack percentage with 10 kills on 14 attempts.
Graduate senior Zoë Chatterton was one kill shy of a double-double with nine kills to go along with digs, while sophomore
Carolina Rodriguez anchored the defense. Rodriguez led the way with 12 digs against the Blue Jays.

Earlier in the day, the Sharks suffered at setback against Johnson & Wales, falling to the Wildcats, 3-0. Coming off a triple-double, graduate senior
April Beatty notched her sixth double-double of the season, leading Simmons with 11 kills and 10 digs.

Meghan Doxsee was once again outstanding at the net, registering five total blocks – three assisted and two solo – while also chipping in with five kills. Graduate senior Zoë Chatterton followed up with nine kills, while Pridgeon kept pace with eight against the Wildcats.
SIMMONS HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Hannah Pridgeon registered 21 kills against JWU and USJ, while also notching her ninth double-double of the season against the Blue Jays.
- Graduate senior April Beatty recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 10 digs against the Wildcats in game one. Beatty finished the day with 19 kills.
- Graduate senior Zoë Chatterton followed up with 18 kills over the two games.
- Senior Meghan Doxsee was perfect from the floor against USJ, tallying 10 kills on 14 attempts.
