BOSTON, Mass. – Simmons University Soccer battled the conditions as well as the Emmanuel College Saints this evening where the Saints used their momentum from a high-scoring first half to come out with the 5-0 win over the Sharks.

How It Happened

• Midway through the first half Emmanuel tallied their first of four goals in the first 45 min of action to lead 4-0 at halftime.
• After two saves from Mikaela Marie Javar as well as too off target shots by the Saints, the home team was able to widen their lead after netting their fifth of the evening in the 52nd minute.

Beyond The Box Score

• For the second straight season, keeper Mikaela Marie Javar not only faced a season-high shots against the Saints but also recorded a career-high in saves with 20 saves.
• The Sharks return to the pitch this weekend again on the road as they travel to face the Elms College Blazers on Saturday, October 18.
