FRANKLIN, Mass. – The Simmons University Volleyball team traveled to Dean College this evening to play the Bulldogs in conference action. The Sharks made quick work of their hosts, 3-0.

How It Happened

• Four kills from Kate Petrosso, Mia LeBrun, and Carolina Rodriguez, as well as an ace from Hannah Pridgeon put the Sharks ahead by 10 points (20-10). The Bulldogs attempted to get back in the fight, but the Sharks persevered to win by a score of 25-20.
• A 9-2 dominance from Simmons was all the Sharks needed in the second frame to go on top, 2-0 (25-11).
• Both sides traded points in the early moments of the match before the Sharks once again doubled up their counterparts (20-10) en route to the sweep.

Beyond The Box Score

• Kira Buonopane had a career-high four aces tonight.
• Tonight marks the six match-up between the two institutions with the Sharks winning all six meetings.
• Simmons returns to Holmes to welcome the Rivier Raiders on Tuesday, October 7.
