BOSTON, Mass. – The Simmons University Volleyball team welcomed the University of Saint Joseph's (USJ) Blue Jays as the Sharks celebrated Senior Night. The Sharks dominated the evening with a 3-0 sweep over the visitors.

How It Happened

• Simmons capitalized off of a 6-0 run midway through the opening set to secure the 25-17 win.
• Down by a score of 4-1, the Sharks bounced back in a big way, scoring eight unanswered points to flip the script to lead, 9-4. USJ came within two, but that was the closest they would get as the Sharks went on top, 2-0 after the 25-19 victory.
• The Sharks widened the gap early and continued to put their foot on the gas in the sweep (25-12).

Beyond The Box Score

• Iliana Diaz slammed down a career-high 14 kills on senior night. 
• Carolina Rodriguez registered a season-high 23 digs.
• Before tonight's match, Simmons honored their four seniors: Abby Sousa, Kate Petrosso, Nicole Tverskoy, Iliana Diaz
• Simmons returns to action on November 5 against Southern Maine on the road for non-conference action.
