WINTHROP, MA— The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its 2024-25 All-Academic Team this afternoon. The list includes 1,663 student-athletes, which eclipses a new league-high. In order to be eligible for academic all-conference, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA and have completed second-year academic status. Student-athletes must also have competed in at least one of the conference's 21 championship sports.

Simmons University had 76 student-athletes earn this honor across their ten teams competing in the GNAC. The average cumulative GPA among this group of Sharks was an impressive 3.76. The soccer team topped the charts with 14; the highest number of student athletes recognized from a single Simmons roster.
