CSC RELEASE
BOSTON, Mass. – As announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), Simmons University placed six student-athletes on the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team. Representing the Sharks were Hailey Brisson (Business and Management) and Penelope Long (3+3 DPT Physical Therapy) from field hockey, Leah Finn (Nutrition and Dietetics) and Everett Garner (Chemistry and Physics) from lacrosse, and Ivy Maynard (Mathematics and Economics) and Sydney Maurer (Political Science) from rowing.
The six honorees were recognized for their outstanding achievements both academically and athletically during the 2025-26 academic year.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 and compete in at least 66 percent of their institution's contests (90 percent for rowing). Institutions are limited to six nominees in the at-large sport category.
Maynard was named CSC Academic All-District for the second straight year, while Brisson, Long, Finn, Garner, and Maurer earned the recognition for the first time.
