GNAC RELEASE
BOSTON, Mass. – Simmons University Soccer has been chosen to place 11th this year in the league as released by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) office this afternoon. Emmanuel was voted to run it back again after winning it all in 2024. Â
Overall, the Sharks tallied 64 points, just outside a top-10 prediction as St. Joseph's College (Maine) who Simmons dueled to a 1-1 draw last year came in with 71 points. Landing in the top spots were Rivier (172) in second, Lasell in third (163), followed by Regis (139), and Albertus Magnus (124) rounding out the top-five.
After capping off last season with a 2-0-1 record in the final three games, the Sharks will look to build on their performance heading into this season which will begin on the road on Saturday, August 30 at Wellesley College.Â
