BRISTOL, R.I. – For the second straight night, Simmons University Volleyball stepped onto the court and played the Hawks of Roger Williams University (RWU) in Bristol, Rhode Island as part of the Roger Williams Weekend Invitational. The home team handled the Sharks, 3-0.

How It Happened

  • Mia LeBrun gave her squad the slight advantage midway through the second set with a couple of kills (12-8). However, the home team utilized a 7-1 run to come away with the 25-18 win.
  • Locked up at 15-15, the Sharks and Hawks traded points until the scoreboard read 22-22. From there, RWU put up the final three points to claim the sweep.
