WELLESLEY, Mass. — The Simmons Sharks traveled out to Wellesley once again, this time to compete in the Seven Sisters Invitational. The Sharks swam a successful two sessions today and will return to the pool at 11 a.m. tomorrow for one final session of diving and swimming.

Saturday Morning
- The 200-yard freestyle relay comprised of Clarissa Weaver, Julia Long, Ainsley Horan and Charlotte Doherty took ninth place with a time of 2:06.62.
- In the 50-yard breaststroke, Bee Eckels swam a time of 36.04. Julia Long finished in eighth (36.87), Doherty touched in ninth (37.47) and Weaver placed eleventh (42.13).
- Senior Carli Quinlan touched the wall in third in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 27.24.
- Laura Luthi took eleventh in the 500-yard freestyle (6:00.89). Her teammate Horan came in sixteenth (6:15.11).
- With a quick turnaround, Luthi found herself in twelfth after a quick heat of the 50-yard backstroke (32.22).
- Quinlan touched the final wall in fifth in the 200-yard individual medley, swimming a time of 2:20.67. Her teammate Eckels landed in fifteenth (2:30.02).
- The 400-yard medley relay comprised of Luthi, Long, Quinlan and Eckels finished in sixth, touching the wall with a time of 4:29.50.
- Freshman Autumn Welch completed six dives on the 1-meter, ending the session with a score of 152.85.
Saturday Evening
- The Sharks started off the second session with a sixth place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of Luthi, Long, Quinlan and Eckels made another appearance and finished with a time of 2:01.73.
- Quinlan took another top three finish in the 200-yard freestyle, going 2:00.01.
- In the 100-yard breaststroke, Eckels placed eighth (1:18.79), Doherty came in tenth (1:19.23), Long finished closely behind in eleventh (1:19.57) and Weaver rounded out the group in sixteenth (1:29.75).
- Luthi swam a time of 1:09.86 in the 100-yard backstroke, landing in sixteenth place.
- In the final event of the session, the 800-yard freestyle relay team of Eckels, Horan, Luthi and Quinlan touched the final wall in sixth with a time of 8:53.27.
The Sharks ended the day in fifth place with an overall score of 219.5.
