Sharks Compete At Penultimate Regatta On Lake Quinsigamond

WORCESTER, Mass. – Simmons University Rowing returned to Lake Quinsigamond today for the New England Rowing Championship. 

By The Numbers
  • To start the day, Simmons raced side by side against MIT, Bates, Wesleyan, Colby, Bowdoin, and Bryant. Simmons came in seventh place with their time of 8:44.168.
  • Then, in the final which took place later in the evening, the Sharks returned with vengeance to drop over 30 seconds off their time, clocking in at 8:10.070 in a race against UNH.

  • The Sharks have the week to prepare before they travel to New Jersey to race at the annual Dad Vail Regatta.
