NEWMAC RELEASE

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – As an associate member of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), Simmons University Rowing had five student-athletes earn a spot on the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference team as released by the league office today.

Representing the Sharks were Sarah Cournoyer, Adriana Garcia, Sydney Maurer, Ivy Maynard, and Soumya Warty. Overall, 99 rowing student-athletes were honored with this award. 

In order to be named to the Academic All-Conference team, honorees must be at least a sophomore, have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
