ANDOVER, Mass. – Junior captain
Carli Quinlan posted a pair of top three finishes in Simmons swimming & diving's dual meet against tough Wellesley College and Merrimack College squads on Friday evening.
In the third event of the night, the 200-yard freestyle, Quinlan touched the wall .21 seconds ahead of Wellesley College's Cecilia Cai with a season-best time of 1:58.05. Later in the meet, in the 100-yard butterfly, Quinlan clocked a time of 1:02.76.
Senior
Hailey Stuck also performed well, clocking a pair of season-best times in the 50- and 100-yard freestyles to finish in second and third, respectively. In the 50 free, Stuck earned second place hitting the wall four hundredths of a second quicker than Merrimack's Maddie McAloon with a time of 26.01. Then in the 100 free Stuck finished third with a time of 57.15.
Sophomore
Laura Luthi finished fourth in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:30.33, while classmate
Clarissa Weaver posted a season-best time of 1:15.57 in the 100-yard freestyle.
The Sharks' 400-yard freestyle relay squad of

Chaelin Humphrey,
Isabel Barry-Ruiz and
Carli Quinlan capped of the meet placing third with a time a time 4:02.31.
