WINTHROP, Mass. – For the second time this season first-year Zoe Soule secured Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week honors announced by the League on Monday afternoon.
 
Over the course of a four-game week, Soule led the Sharks hitting .714 while posting a staggering 1.843 OPS (1.143 SLG%, .700 OBP) against non-conference MIT and Rhode Island College. In the Sharks second game against MIT, Soule slugged her first collegiate career homerun which also was the first four bagger a Sharks' player has hit this season.

Currently riding a four-game hitting streak, Soule drove in three RBI while also registered three assists in the field.
 
Simmons returns to the diamond on Saturday, March 22 when they host Suffolk University for two. First pitch is at noon.
