GNAC RELEASE

BOSTON, Mass. – Simmons University Volleyball's standout student-athlete Carolina Rodriguez was honored by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) after her reliability on the court this past week. Rodriguez was named the GNAC Libero of the Week for her efforts.  

Rodriguez played a pivotal role in a 2-1 week for the Sharks, showcasing consistency and poise in the back row. The libero totaled 51 digs, including 20 in a four set win over New England College (NEC), and posted a stellar .947 reception percentage over 10 sets, anchoring the team's back court defense. The junior also booked seven assists and an ace on the week contributing to the Sharks' 2-1 record on the week.

The Sharks return to the hardwood on Thursday, October 23 on the road against the Brandeis Judges.
