BOSTON, Mass. – As release by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) organization today, four student-athletes from Simmons University Volleyball have been named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team. Emily Ibarra, Kate Petrosso, Hannah Pridgeon, and Carolina Rodriguez were honored for their standout performance in the classroom and on the court. 

In order to be recognized by the organization, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches, while maintaining 3.5 GPA or higher for their careers. 

This marks the second straight year that juniors, Pridgeon and Rodriguez have collected CSC awards, while teammates Petrosso and Ibarra make their debut on the CSC Academic Team.
